Gather for Galentines

Each year I host a Galentine’s party. Galentines, if you’re familiar, dates all the way back (to my knowledge) to Leslie Knope and her leadership in showing her best gal pals how much she loves them. I’ve added an additional spin and the theme of the party is a favorite things exchange. The name of the game is each gal selects a favorite item that costs around $10, and brings 5 of that item. Their name goes into a bowl five separate times. Then each attendee draws five different names. Each person will share why they brought what they did and hand out their five items to those that drew their names. It’s been fun over the years to learn about all the secret little gems my girlfriends use to make their lives better. Normally what turns into live-action ordering for those who didn’t draw that person’s name as each gift is passed out, I’ve decided to do a wrap of the favorite things we saw this year! I decided to break the trend and skip the pinks and reds this year. I wore this royal purple dress from Tuckernuck. Links below, or you can always find them later by following my LTK.
