Wide-bottomed jeans are where it’s at this season, and my ankles are happier with all the breathing room. The Anthropologie high waist in these makes them a great fit for the other hot item this season, crop top sweaters. The other bonus with these jeans is their softness lets me tag them “mom jeans” status and I haven’t stopped wearing them since they arrived.

JVN is a newer hair product line. My hope was my obsession for him would transfer to his hair products and I’m happy to report it has. I am a human who very rarely blow dries my hair, however with my newly found efforts to use hot rollers, this has been key to put on my hair while it’s still damp before blow drying. It’s appropriately titled milk because it makes my hair so silky smooth.

The weeks between summer are always bittersweet in Iowa. They are also very complicated to dress for. In the morning you’ll need pants, long sleeves and boots, and a few short hours later you’ll need your swimsuit and a dip in the pool. My solution: a sleeveless sweater and as per usual Nordstrom has the answers.

I’ve learned in my short time in my 40’s, I’m still not old enough to not be constantly surprised. This week I was completely floored to find this bag I love at Walmart! Brandon Maxwell has a new line there and I’ve found an uncomfortable amount of pieces I’ve loved as much as my bank account has thanked me. Starting with this bag.
